Most beginners never get paid clipping. Here's why.
Everyone wants to "get into clipping." Almost nobody cashes a first payout.
It's not because the platforms dried up. It's because most people do this:
Clip random long-form with no demand
Edit for 40 minutes on one video
Never post because it "isn't good enough yet"
Quit after a week with zero dollars
The clippers who get paid do the opposite.
They work from a list. They cut 8–15 shorts a day, not one masterpiece. They hook in the first second, keep captions readable on mute, and they treat this like a shift, not a hobby.
If you're starting from zero: pick one creator whose content already travels, cut 10 clips tomorrow, and measure which 3 get saved. Then copy that structure.
That's the whole job. Volume plus a clean hook. Everything else is noise.
