Your calendar is lying to you about how long a day is
Most solopreneurs I talk to are not lazy. They are running three jobs on one calendar and calling the collision "being busy."
Client work. Content. Admin. Each one is real. Each one will take the whole week if you let it. The calendar just stacks them and hopes 9pm still exists.
Here is the rule that actually works:
One week, three lanes, one protected block.
Client gets the hours you already sold. Those are not optional.
Content gets a standing slot, same days, before the inbox opens. If it is not on the line, it does not happen.
Admin gets the leftovers on purpose. Batch it. Do not let it leak into the morning.
Then pick one 90-minute deep block and treat it like a paid call. Camera off. Phone in another room. That block is the only reason the other two lanes have a business to serve.
If your week cannot hold all three lanes plus that block, the week is overfull. Cut. Do not add a fourth app.
That is the whole method. We built Dayline so the line draws itself — but you can run it on paper tomorrow morning and it will still tell you the truth.
