Everyone thinks 3D printing is just about hitting "print" — but the difference between a cheap print and a quality one comes down to 3 things:

1. Layer height matters more than you think

Going from 0.2mm to 0.12mm layers is the difference between visible lines and a smooth finish. Most print shops skip this because it doubles print time. I don't.

2. Material selection is everything

PLA looks nice on a shelf, but PETG and ASA hold up in the real world. I match the material to what you actually need the piece for — display, function, or outdoor use.

3. Post-processing is where the magic happens

Sanding, priming, and finishing turns a $5-looking print into something that looks injection-molded. This is the step most sellers skip entirely.
