Most offices think they have a recall problem. They don't. They have a list problem.
The hygiene board is full of names who "need to come in." Half of them already came in six months ago under a different code. A quarter never picked up because you called during lunch. The rest got a postcard they threw out.

Same-day confirmation, not a 48-hour voicemail
One owner of the book. Not "whoever is free"
Recalls treated as appointments, not reminders. You don't remind someone they have a job. You book the next visit before they leave.
If your no-show rate is over 8%, stop buying more patients. Fix the ones you already have.
