EURUSD – ICT / Smart Money Concept Scenario

The market remains clearly bullish, with multiple Break of Structure (BOS) confirming strong upward momentum.

Price is currently trading above equilibrium, forming consistent Higher Highs & Higher Lows, which reflects clear buyer dominance.

🔍 Context:

• Bullish market structure intact (confirmed BOS)

• Presence of IDM (Inducement) below recent highs

• Strong impulsive move creating imbalance

• Key zone identified: Extreme Order Block

💡 Expected Scenario:

Price is likely to retrace into the Order Block to:

• Collect liquidity (sell-side liquidity)

• Fill the imbalance (inefficiency)

• Trap early sellers

🎯 Trading Plan:

• Wait for price to return to the OB zone

• Look for confirmation (internal structure shift / rejection)

• Execute long positions based on ICT entry models

🚀 Target:

Continuation towards new highs in line with the bullish trend.

USDJPY respected the Extreme Order Block and delivered a reaction, followed by a clear Change of Character in the market structure.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t on the charts to execute the short opportunity. That said, it would have aligned with my risk management rules — price only pushed about 3R in profit, falling short of my 4R target, meaning it would have ultimately closed at break-even.

Discipline remains key — not every move is meant to be captured, and sticking to the plan always comes first.
