How to Write Your First E-book in 7 Days (Even If You've Never Written Before)

Most people overthink e-books. They think they need to be professional writers, buy expensive software, or have a huge following first.

None of that is true. Here's the actual process:

Day 1-2: Pick a topic people will pay for. Don't write about what you find interesting — write about what solves a specific problem. "How to meal prep for $30/week" beats "My thoughts on nutrition" every time.

Day 3-4: Outline it. 5-8 chapters. Each chapter answers one question. Use bullet points first, then expand into paragraphs. Google Docs is free and works perfectly.

Day 5: Write the content. Aim for 5,000-15,000 words. That's 20-60 pages. You don't need a novel — you need something useful and well-organized.

Day 6: Design a cover and format it. Canva (free) for the cover. Export as PDF. Done.

Day 7: Publish and make your first sale. List it on a platform that handles payments for you. Set a fair price ($9-29 for most e-books). Share it on social media with a genuine post about why you wrote it.

That's it. No magic. No gimmicks. Just a skill you can repeat over and over.

We teach this entire process — step by step, legally, with templates and community support — inside E-book For Us.
