The 3 things holding you back from learning to dance
Most people who want to learn dance never start. Here's why — and the fix.
1. "I have no rhythm."
Rhythm isn't something you're born with. It's a skill you train, like any other. After two weeks of basic footwork drills, my students consistently surprise themselves. Your body already knows how to move — it just needs permission.
2. "I'm too old / too unfit / too stiff."
I've taught students from age 12 to 67. Dance isn't about flexibility — it's about intention. The most elegant dancers aren't the most flexible. They're the most present.
3. "I'll embarrass myself."
Everyone looks awkward at first. That's not a bug — it's the process. The gap between "I can't do this" and "wait, I'm actually doing this" is shorter than you think.
If you've been putting it off, this is your sign. The Elegance Starter Class is designed specifically for people who have never danced a day in their life.
All ages. No prerequisites. Just show up.
