The real reason men over 30 can't stick with fitness
It's not motivation. It's not discipline. It's not even time.
It's that every program out there is designed for 22-year-olds with zero responsibilities.
When you're 30+, juggling a career, maybe a family, and years of rust — you need a completely different approach:
Start stupidly small. 15-minute workouts beat skipped 60-minute ones every time.
Build the habit before the body. Consistency for 3 weeks matters more than intensity for 3 days.
Get around other men doing it. Accountability isn't optional — it's the whole game.
Stop optimizing. You don't need the perfect split. You need to move your body 4x a week.
I've been coaching men through this exact transition for years. The guys who make it aren't the most talented — they're the ones who stop starting over and just keep going.
If that sounds like you, Elevate Coaching Collective is where we do this together.
