Most traders blow up on 0DTE SPX options for the same reasons.
They're trading signals, not price action.
Someone tells them "buy the 4400 call" — so they do it with zero context. No understanding of where price came from, what the structure looks like, or why that level even matters.
Here's what I've learned trading SPX daily:
1. Entry timing matters more than direction. You can be right about where SPX is headed and still lose — because you bought too early and got shaken out on the wick. Price action timing is everything.
2. One trade, done right, is enough. The best 0DTE setups happen once or twice during the morning session. Most people overtrade and turn a winning day into a losing one.
I cover all of this live, every trading day. Analysis starts at 9:25 AM EST. No guessing, no signals — just real reading of the tape.
