Style Tip of the Day #6: IF YOU CAN'T STYLE IT IN DIFFERENT WAYS, RECONSIDER BUYING IT!

When you are considering buying a piece of clothing, think of different ways you can style it before you purchase it. I am not against outfit repeating, however, you should be able to style the same item in different ways.

If we are talking about a shirt for example, think of how you can layer it differently, pair it with different colors, tuck vs untuck, etc.

You should be able to show your versatility and range of motion when it comes to your personal style.

Style Tip of the Day #5: LAYER WITH DIFFERENT LENGTHS!

For my people in cooler climates, layering with different lengths is an essential when it comes to styling. If you want to piece together different items in your outfit, different lengths allow those items to each have their shine.

Think of it this way... You take the time and effort to assemble your bottom layers to then cover it all up with something that falls at the same length? I'd be mad too!

Go the route of having each layer at a different length so that everything has it's chance of visibility giving your outfit a more elevated look.

Style Tip of the Day #4TAKE AND HAVE YOUR BODY MEASUREMENTS HANDY!

Knowing your body measurements is such an important tip when it comes to styling yourself or even purchasing clothes. By knowing your measurements, you can understand how certain clothes will fit before even trying them on.

Having measured parts such as inseam, shoulder width, chest, waist, neck, etc. can allow you to know what the perfect fit of a clothing item may be.

For my online shoppers that say "I ordered this item and it doesn't fit properly" try this tip out and see if it helps. Not all larges are large and not all mediums fit like a medium!

Style Tip of the Day #3INVEST IN HIGH QUALITY BASICS!

If you're someone who dresses very minimalistic and heavily relies on neutral tones and blanks, look to invest in high quality basics.

Think of your blank tees, overshirts, denim, trousers, etc. you want to make sure these are of good quality. You, and others, will easily see the difference between a black shirt with poor fabric vs. a high quality one that'll last a decent time.

I will be curating a list of some stores/brands that have some of the best items for each article of clothing to help your next shopping spree!

Style Tip of the Day #2: UPGRADE YOUR SHOE ROTATION!

Stop continuously buying the same sneakers over and over again. A lot of your outfits get ruined or lose it's punch because you don't know how to cap it off with the right shoe.

Take the risk and begin upgrading your shoe rotation with different types of shoes and silhouettes. Go after a boot, loafer, mule, open-toed sandal, etc.

Pairing a shoe based on the occasion and matching it with the rest of the outfit ties it all together. Don't be the guy that wears the same beat up AF1s with every outfit because it's your favorite shoe. Grow up!

Style Tip of the Day #1: STOP BUYING CLOTHES JUST BECAUSE THEY'RE TRENDY

First tip of this forum is going to be very general. When it comes to styling, or personal styling, you want to make each outfit/look very individual and fitting for the person, while also maintaining their personal brand.

Just because it is trendy, that does not mean that it would look good on everyone. It is very important to be aware of various things when it comes to dressing such as body type/size, skin tone, and even the fashion avenue you're aiming for (streetwear, fast casual, elevated workwear, modern luxury, etc.).

The goal is to dress for your own personal experience and to not mimic whatever is going on in the world. You want to be comfortable in what you wear, and with comfort, comes confidence. Confidence allows you to wear the clothes and not let the clothes wear you.
