The 3 biggest fat loss mistakes I see guys make (and what to do instead)
Been helping guys lose fat for a while now. These are the 3 mistakes I see over and over:
1. Cutting calories too aggressively
You slash your intake to 1200 calories thinking faster = better. Instead, your metabolism crashes, you lose muscle, and 3 weeks in you're binging on pizza at 2am. Start with a moderate 300-500 calorie deficit. Slow and steady actually IS faster.
2. Doing too much cardio, not enough lifting
Cardio burns calories in the moment. Lifting builds muscle that burns calories 24/7. If you're only running and not touching weights, you're leaving results on the table. Prioritize 3-4 lifting sessions per week.
3. Following random "shred" diets from social media
That influencer's meal plan wasn't made for YOUR body, YOUR schedule, or YOUR preferences. A plan you can stick to for 6 months beats a "perfect" plan you quit after 2 weeks.
Fat loss isn't complicated — it's just not easy. But when you have a clear system and you stop overthinking it, the results come fast.
I put everything I know into a straightforward guide. No filler, no bro science — just what actually works.
