Want to make a bit of extra cash just by giving honest opinions on ads?

Hey everyone, I recently spun up a little project called FirstGlance on Whop.

The whole concept is that brands and creators drop their upcoming ad creatives (images or videos) in there to get real, unfiltered feedback from actual people before they burn real money running them.

Here’s where you come in: We need real eyes to review these ads(eventually going to limit the amount of reviewers, so join while you can!).

  • It’s 100% free to join. No experience, marketing background, or tech skills needed at all.

  • How it works: You take a look at an ad, share your raw first impression, point out what feels confusing, and give a quick rating.

  • Getting paid: When the review round closes, the best responses get picked and paid out for their time. There’s a public tracker right in the space so you can watch your earnings stack up round by round.

If you've got a few minutes to spare, want to grow with us and want a straightforward way to earn some extra cash just by saying what you actually think, come hop in.

Would love to have you check it out:

Made a small platform where you get paid to give your honest opinion on ads

Built something called FirstGlance. Short version: businesses pay a small fee to post their ad (image or video) and get real, honest feedback from actual people before they spend money running it for real. Yes, this doubles down as advertising too, every person reviewing the ad is a real set of eyes on it, so it's feedback and a bit of exposure at the same time.

Here's the part that matters if you're just looking to make a bit of money: you don't need to be a business to use this. Anyone can join as a reviewer, completely free. You watch the ad, give your honest first impression, point out what's confusing, say what you'd change, rate it. If your feedback is one of the best responses in the round, you get paid for it.

No experience needed, no portfolio, nothing to set up on your end. Just an honest opinion and a bit of time. Earnings build up as you get picked across rounds, and you can cash out once you hit the payout threshold.

If you've got a few minutes here and there and don't mind giving your real opinion on things, genuinely worth checking out. And if you're a business sitting on an ad you're not sure about, this works both ways, obviously.

FirstGlance get real feedback on your ad before you spend real money running it (and yes, this doubles as free advertising)

Just launched FirstGlance, a small marketplace built on Whop.

The idea: businesses pay $5 to post their ad creative (image or video), and real people review it, give honest feedback, first impression, what's confusing, what they'd change, and an overall rating. Once the round closes, the business picks the 5 most useful responses, and those 5 reviewers get paid for their time.

Here's the part I didn't expect going in: it's not just feedback. Every person who reviews your ad is a real human actually looking at it. So beyond the honest critique, you're also getting genuine organic exposure for your ad while you're at it, basically small-scale free advertising baked into the same $5. Get validated and get seen, at the same time.

If you're a business with an ad you're not sure about, or just want a second opinion before spending real ad budget, this is built for exactly that.

Also, since this only works with real reviewers, we're actively looking for people to join and start reviewing. It's free to join, no experience needed, just honest opinions. You get paid for feedback that actually gets picked, and there's a public tracker so you can see your earnings add up round by round.

Would genuinely love feedback on this too, happy to answer anything.

Why your ad creative needs a stranger's eyes before it needs a budget

Most ad creatives fail for a reason nobody on the internal team can see: you already know what your product does.

Here's the problem with testing your own ad before you spend money on it — you can't unsee your own context. You know the offer, the audience, the pain point. A stranger scrolling past your ad has none of that. They get 3 seconds and a thumb.

Three things worth checking before you ever put a dollar behind a creative:

  1. The 3-second read. Show it to someone cold. Take it away. Ask what they think it's about. If they're wrong, the ad is wrong — not the targeting.

  1. The confusion point. Every ad has one line, one image, or one CTA that makes a first-time viewer pause and go "wait, what?" You won't find it. Someone outside the project will, immediately.

  1. The single fix. Not "make it better" — one specific, concrete change. Bigger price callout. Different first frame. Clearer CTA. Specifics are the only feedback worth acting on.

FirstGlance exists because this feedback loop usually doesn't happen until after the ad is already live and burning spend. It's a marketplace: businesses submit a creative for $5, real reviewers give structured feedback (3-second read, confusion point, improvement, 1-10 rating), the business picks the 5 most useful responses, and those reviewers get paid.

No algorithm scoring your ad. No focus group logistics. Just fast, honest, specific input before you spend the real budget.
