The #1 mistake beginners make at the gym (and how to fix it)
Most people walk into the gym for the first time and do one of two things:
Copy whatever the biggest guy is doing
Hop on the treadmill for 45 minutes and leave
Both are a waste of time.
The real problem? No structure. You wouldn't build a house without blueprints. Why would you build a body without one?
A good beginner program has 3 things:
Compound movements first (squat, bench, deadlift, rows, overhead press)
Progressive overload (adding weight or reps each week — not just "going hard")
Recovery built in (rest days aren't lazy, they're when you actually grow)
I built the Beginner Gym Blueprint because I wasted my first year doing random exercises with zero progress. This template gives you a structured 90-day plan so you skip the guesswork entirely.
If you're new to the gym and tired of winging it, this is for you.
