Most FiveM servers die in the first 30 days for the same 3 reasons

Been around the FiveM server-owner space for a while and the pattern is always the same. Servers don't die because the scripts are bad — they die because of three completely avoidable things:

1. Whitelist too strict, too early. You launch with a 20-question application form to "filter for quality RP" and end up with 4 active players two weeks in. Open the door wider at launch, tighten it once you actually have a population worth protecting.

2. No economy sink. Money floods in from jobs/heists with nowhere to go, everyone's rich in a week, and the RP incentive collapses. If players can't lose money in meaningful ways (businesses, taxes, real estate, robbery risk), your economy is dead on arrival.

3. Owner burnout from doing everything solo. Scripting, modding, discord modding, ban appeals, marketing — one person cannot do all of it and also grow the server. The owners who actually scale past 100 pop delegate fast, even if it's just handing off Discord modding to a trusted regular in week one.

None of this is about having better scripts or a better map. It's operational discipline.

Building out a space for server owners to trade notes on exactly this kind of stuff — what's working, what's not, real numbers instead of Discord hype. If that's useful to you, come hang out.
