Been deep in Flight Club price data building out Flight Club Price Track, and there are three signals that separate flippers who consistently profit from ones who get stuck holding bags:

1. Spread compression before drops, not after.

Most people check comps after a release. The real edge is watching how fast the spread between "buy it now" and last-sold compresses in the 48 hours BEFORE a restock or collab drop. Fast compression = demand outpacing supply = raise your ask. Slow compression = flood incoming = sell now, don't wait.

2. Size curve shifts.

Everyone tracks the "hot size" (9, 9.5, 10) but the real alpha is in watching when demand starts creeping into 8s and 11.5s. That shift usually means resellers are running out of core sizes to flip and the whole curve is about to reprice upward. Get ahead of it.

3. Listing age vs. price cuts.

A shoe that's been listed 3+ days with no price cut tells you the seller has conviction (or hasn't checked comps). A shoe with a price cut on day 1 tells you the market already corrected — re-check your own listings immediately instead of anchoring to your original number.
