A product title with a typo. A description that reads like it was run through a free translator and left there. A spreadsheet of SKUs with mixed languages in the same column.
Buyers notice. They do not email you about it. They bounce.
I spend my days cleaning that work: translation, proofreading, data entry. The jobs that look small and get skipped because hiring someone full-time is ridiculous for a 400-word listing.
Three rules I use on every file:
Match the voice already on the page. Do not make it sound like a different brand.
Keep numbers, sizes, and SKUs untouched. Copy errors in specs are worse than a typo.
If a sentence is unclear in the source language, ask. Do not invent meaning.
If you have a doc, a listing, or a sheet sitting in drafts because it is messy ā send it. That is the whole business.
