The productivity hack that actually works for ADHD creators
I've tried every productivity system out there. Notion templates, Pomodoro, GTD, time blocking, bullet journals — you name it, I've abandoned it within 2 weeks.
The problem wasn't discipline. It was that every system was designed for brains that work in straight lines. Mine doesn't.
So I built my own. Here's the core of it:
The 3-Task Rule
Every morning, pick exactly 3 tasks:
The Anchor (most important thing)
The Builder (moves a bigger goal forward)
The Quick Win (done in under 30 min)
That's your whole day. Finish all 3? You won. Add more if you want, but 3 is the target.
Why this works when everything else failed:
No 20-item to-do list staring you down
Clear finish line = dopamine when you cross it
The Quick Win gives you momentum before the hard stuff
I've been running this system for months and it's the first thing that actually stuck. Turned it into a full course with energy mapping, momentum loops, and a community of creators who think the same way.
If your brain works like mine — scattered, fast, creative but inconsistent — this might click for you too.
