Why most dog owners overspend on the wrong products
Walk into any pet store and you'll see the same thing: cheap toys that fall apart in 20 minutes, treats packed with fillers, and gear that looks good but doesn't last.
Most dog owners buy based on packaging or what's on sale — and end up wasting $30–50 every couple months.
Here's what actually matters:
Material durability — rope toys should be cotton, not synthetic. Chews should be single-ingredient.
Proper sizing — most accessories are made for "average" dogs. Your dog is not average.
Ingredient transparency — if the treat has more than 5 ingredients and you can't pronounce them, put it back.
We built FurHaven to cut through the noise. Every product we ship is something we'd buy for our own dogs. 🐾
