This space is for members who want a clear, research-first approach to swing trading. Here is a short overview of the strategy and the terms you will see in posts.

The strategy

We look for stocks that have formed a gap (a jump in price between sessions) and then wait for the next swing, the move that develops over days or weeks rather than minutes. The goal is to catch that continuation or fade with defined risk, not to day-trade every tick.

Key terms

• Gap: Price opens above or below the prior session’s close with little or no overlap.

• Swing: A multi-day move from a local low to a local high (or the reverse).

• Continuation: Price keeps moving in the direction of the gap.

• Fade: Price fills or reverses the gap.

• Risk: Where the thesis is wrong, usually a nearby swing high or low, so position size stays controlled.
