Why most fleet wraps look cheap (and how to avoid it)

Ran a wrap shop long enough to see the same mistake over and over: business owners treat a fleet wrap like a sticker instead of a rolling billboard.

A few things that actually move the needle:

  • Contrast over color count. One bold color against a neutral base reads better at 40mph than a busy 5-color design.

  • Logo size is not brand visibility. A huge logo on the door means nothing if your phone number and CTA are 6-point font. People need to act on what they see in 2 seconds.

  • Cheap vinyl shows in 6 months. Cast vinyl vs. calendared vinyl is the difference between a wrap that looks sharp for 5 years and one that's peeling and faded by next summer.

  • Install matters more than design. The best design in the world looks bad with air bubbles and lifted edges. Certified installation isn't an upsell โ€” it's the actual product.

We do custom design consultation through installation for personal and fleet vehicles โ€” happy to break down what a specific project would look like if you're weighing it.
