Why most people lose on PrizePicks (and how to fix it)

Most people building PrizePicks slips are doing it wrong. They scroll Twitter, grab whoever's "trending," throw 5 random props together, and wonder why they're 0-4 on the week.

Here's what actually works:

1. Stop chasing high-leg parlays. The 6-leg flex play looks sexy. It's also a losing strategy long-term. Stick to 2-3 leg plays and optimize your hit rate.

2. Context over stats. A guy averaging 22 PPG means nothing if he's playing a top-3 defense on the second night of a back-to-back. You need to dig into matchups, pace, minutes, and situational factors.

3. Line shopping matters. PrizePicks and Underdog don't always have the same lines. A half-point difference is the difference between a hit and a miss. Always compare.

4. Track everything. If you're not logging your picks and reviewing what went wrong, you're gambling. If you are, you're investing.

I've been grinding props for years now and built a system around these principles. If you want in on the daily picks, check out Greenlight VIP — we keep it sharp in here.
