Here in the southern hemisphere its winter now, the snows have fallen in the high mountain and its a beautiful time to travel to Torres del Paine National Park. Time to take all that gear thats in your closet and pack up for a 5 day W trek, dont worry, Ill take care of you. The winter is my favorite time in Patagonia, there is no one here, the park is empty, the trails are empty the lookouts are quiet, you only hear your breath and the sound of your footsteps making first track in early morning. We go in with everything, expedition style, our tents our food our camp equipment, you dont carry everything the porters do, even your tent.
