I've looked at hundreds of accounts stuck in the same range, and it's almost never reach. It's that they're making decisions with no feedback loop.

Here's what that looks like: post a video, get a number, guess why it did what it did, repeat. No hypothesis, no test, no read on what actually moved the needle. Six months later they've posted 100 times and learned almost nothing, because nothing was structured to be learned from.

The accounts that actually break out do three things differently:

1. They script the first 1.5 seconds before anything else. Not the whole video — just the hook. If you can't say why someone would keep watching in one sentence, the rest doesn't matter yet.

2. They tag every post with one variable they're testing (hook style, topic, format, length) so a good or bad result actually means something.

3. They get a second pair of eyes before publishing, not after. By the time the analytics come in, the decision's already made — a same-day gut check on the hook catches the stuff you're too close to see.

That loop — post, tag, review, adjust — is basically the whole game. Everything else is content.
