I built Hackcepted after watching too many strong engineers bomb final rounds — not because they didn't know the material, but because they'd never had to defend an answer under real pressure.

"Just practice LeetCode" is the advice everyone gives, and it's almost useless if your final round is in 7 days. Here's why:

LeetCode doesn't train the thing that actually fails you in a final round: follow-up pressure. At Meta, Google, Uber, Airbnb, Stripe — the loop isn't "can you solve the problem." It's "can you hold your ground when a Staff+ engineer pokes three holes in your solution back-to-back, out loud, watching you think."

Most candidates have never practiced that. They've drilled problems solo, silently, with no one pushing back. Then the real interviewer disagrees with their approach at minute 12, and they fold — not because their solution was wrong, but because they'd never rehearsed defending it.

That's the gap Hackcepted closes. You face an AI panel (Elena on Systems/Deep Tech, David on RAG/ML, Sarah on Product Sense) that interrupts, challenges, and doesn't let you coast — then hands you a Crash Report showing exactly where you got vague or defensive.

If your final round is this week, you don't need more problems. You need more pressure reps. That's the whole thesis.
