Settings

The settings drop-down menu presents five distinct options for selection: Team, Checkout, Legal, Developer, and Audit Logs. Let's delve into each one to explore their functionality and how they serve you as a creator.

Team settings

On Whop, effortlessly incorporating additional team members into your dashboard is a breeze. You have the flexibility to assign team members to three distinct role types. These roles include:

  • Owner: Possesses full permissions.
  • Admin: Cannot access the Statistics tab or modify company settings.
  • Moderator: Enjoys view-only privileges for specific tabs such as Customers, Links, Affiliates, Raffles, Waitlists, and Promo codes, while access to other tabs remains restricted.

To add team members, navigate to the 'Settings' page, access the 'Team' tab, and select 'Invite member'. From there, input the relevant role and member details. Upon completion, your team member will receive an email from Whop containing sign-up instructions and gain access to your company's page from their dashboard.

Use the 'Require 2FA' toggle to ensure all of your team member's accounts are secured. It will require your team members to enable two-factor authentication to access your dashboard.

Checkout settings

The checkout settings page empowers you to tailor the user experience prior to purchasing your product, as well as configure third-party analytics integration with platforms such as Google, Meta, and TikTok. Let's explore the array of settings and their functionalities:

  • Checkout success redirect URL: Directs users to a customized URL immediately post-checkout.
  • Access while past due: Grants users access to their subscription even if they are past their due date.
  • Require users to verify phone: Ensures users confirm their phone number via an SMS code before proceeding with checkout.
  • Send promotional emails to your members: Dispatches emails to users notifying them of new promotions. If disabled, your company will not be advertised to Whop users.
  • Send transactional emails to your members: Sends emails concerning purchases, upcoming renewals, and payment attempts to users.

  • Terms and Conditions Acceptance Requirement: Users must agree to the terms and conditions during checkout.
  • Enable User VAT ID Input: Users are given the option to input their VAT ID during checkout.
  • Company Identification Number: Enter your company's VAT, tax, or other legal identification number to activate this feature.

Developer settings

The developer settings page serves as a comprehensive toolkit tailored for developers on Whop. Here, you'll discover essential features such as API key generation, redirect URL creation, and webhook setup. Let's delve into how these functionalities operate and are configured:

API keys

Create API Key: Clicking on 'Create API Key' will prompt a sidebar where you can specify the permissions you wish to assign.

  • Ensure to store your API key securely as the full string won't be accessible once the popup is closed.
  • In the table, you can view the name, API key, permissions, and creation date of your newly generated key. The '...' button provides options to modify permissions, reset, or delete the key.

Audit Logs

The audit logs page provides a comprehensive overview of all modifications made by you and your team members within the creator dashboard. Uncertain about the originator of a specific promo code? Utilize the audit log page to pinpoint precisely who is responsible.

Refine your search by filtering through resource type, event type, creation date, and team member. Tailor the table to your preferences by fully customizing its columns—remove, add, or rearrange them as desired.
