Welcome to Your 30-Day Hydration Accountability Cohort ๐Ÿ’ง

You just made the best decision for your health this year.

Welcome to the cohort. Here's how the next 30 days work:

Your Personal Target

Take your body weight in pounds, divide by 2 โ€” that's your daily water intake in ounces. A 180 lb person drinks 90 oz. A 140 lb person drinks 70 oz. Simple math, life-changing habit.

How This Program Works

๐Ÿ“š The Course โ€” Work through the 5 chapters sequentially. Each lesson builds on the last. Don't skip ahead.

๐Ÿ’ฌ Cohort Chat โ€” This is your accountability room. Post your daily intake numbers. Ask questions. Share wins. The people in this chat are doing the exact same thing you are โ€” use them.

Your First 24 Hours

  1. Open Lesson 1 in the course and read the welcome overview

  2. Complete Lesson 3 to calculate your personal daily target

  3. Post your target number in the Cohort Chat: "My daily target is ___ oz"

  4. Fill your water bottle right now. Not later. Now.

Rules

  • Post your daily ounce count every single day. No exceptions. That's what you're paying for โ€” accountability.

  • If you miss a day, post the next morning with what happened and what you'll do differently.

  • Help others. When someone shares a struggle, respond. This cohort works because of the group, not just the content.

One More Thing

You're not here because you don't know water is important. You're here because knowing wasn't enough. Execution is everything. Let's go.

The Half-Body-Weight Hydration Formula: How to Calculate Exactly How Much Water You Need

Most people have no idea how much water they actually need. "8 glasses a day" is a myth from the 1940s that was never based on real science.

Here's the formula that actually works:

Your body weight (lbs) รท 2 = daily water intake in ounces

That's it. A 200 lb person needs 100 oz. A 150 lb person needs 75 oz. A 120 lb person needs 60 oz.

This isn't random. It's based on the metabolic demand of your lean tissue mass and the rate at which your kidneys process fluid relative to body size.

Why Most People Are Chronically Dehydrated

The average American drinks about 44 oz of water per day. For anyone over 130 lbs, that's a deficit. Every. Single. Day.

Signs you're probably not drinking enough:

  • Afternoon energy crashes (you blame it on sleep or food โ€” it's water)

  • Headaches that "come out of nowhere" after 2 PM

  • Brain fog during focused work

  • Dry skin despite using moisturizer

  • Dark yellow urine past noon

How to Actually Hit Your Number

Step 1: Calculate your target. Weight รท 2 = ounces. Write it down.

Step 2: Front-load your morning. Drink 16-20 oz within the first 30 minutes of waking up. Your body is dehydrated from 7-8 hours of sleep. This single habit covers 20-25% of most people's daily target before breakfast.

Step 3: Use time-based checkpoints. Split your remaining ounces across 3 blocks:

  • Morning (wake โ†’ noon): 40% of remaining

  • Afternoon (noon โ†’ 5 PM): 35% of remaining

  • Evening (5 PM โ†’ bed): 25% of remaining

Step 4: Track it. What gets measured gets managed. Use a marked water bottle, a tally on your phone, or a simple notebook. The method doesn't matter โ€” the consistency does.

The 72-Hour Test

Try this for just 3 days. Hit your half-body-weight number for 72 consecutive hours. Most people notice a difference in energy and mental clarity by day 2. By day 3, the afternoon crash disappears.

If you want structured accountability and a full system to lock this habit in permanently, that's exactly what we built the 30-Day Hydration Accountability Cohort for. But the formula above is free and it works. Start today.
