When every quote, every fire, and every decision runs through one person, you can grow revenue and still feel like the place is on fire. More marketing doesn't fix that. A new website doesn't fix that.

• Who owns cash if you take a week off?

• Who owns the calendar?

• What still ships if you're not in the building?
