Applying more is not a strategy

Most people treat a job search like a lottery. Fifty applications, zero follow-ups, then they decide the market is dead.

The market is not dead. Their system is.

Run five statuses and nothing else:

  1. Saved — the role actually fits

  2. Applied — submitted, dated, logged

  3. Follow-up — one note at day 5–7

  4. Interview — prep sheet the night before

  5. Offer / Closed — a decision, not a ghost

Weekly quota that actually moves the needle: 10 targeted applications, 5 follow-ups, 2 real conversations.

If you cannot explain in one sentence why you fit the role, do not apply. That filter alone cuts the noise in half.

I built a free workspace around this exact pipeline. Use it or copy the system on paper. Either way, stop counting applications and start counting conversations.

The 4 Amazon/Etsy messages that eat your whole afternoon

If you sell on Amazon or Etsy, you already know the four tickets:

  1. Where's my order — they ordered 36 hours ago.

  2. It hasn't arrived — carrier says delivered, buyer says it isn't.

  3. I want a refund — no photo, no reason, just the demand.

  4. I'm opening a case — A-to-Z or Etsy case, written like a lawyer.

Most sellers rewrite a new version of the same email every time. That's how a 6-minute ticket becomes 25.

What actually works:

  • Answer the specific fear first ("your tracking shows X, here's what that means").

  • Give one next step, not five options.

  • Set a deadline so they stop chasing you ("if it isn't there by Friday, I'll refund without another message").

  • Stay short. Long replies look guilty.

I built Inbox Autopilot because I was tired of watching founders lose evenings to this. The Amazon + Etsy Reply Pack is the scripts I wish I'd had on day one — copy, paste, close the ticket.

Buy once. Use forever.

The 5 emails that eat a Shopify founder’s day

If you run a Shopify store alone, your inbox is not “customer experience.” It is the same five tickets, every day, written like they are unique.

Where is my order.

Why is shipping late.

I want a refund.

This is the wrong size.

You are a scam.

I used to rewrite those from scratch. That is how you lose a morning and still sound tired in the reply.

What actually works is a boring system: one calm paragraph, the order number, the tracking link, and a binary next step (reship or refund). No essay. No “we value your feedback.” Customers do not want a personality. They want the package or their money.

If a carrier has not moved in 48 hours, do not wait for them to become honest. Offer the choice. You will lose some margin. You will keep the afternoon.

That is the whole product. Not software. Not a course. The replies, already written, plus the AI prompt so your help desk stops inventing a new voice every ticket.

If you are still typing “so sorry for the inconvenience” at 11pm, you do not have a support problem. You have a template problem.
