Welcome to Ink & Grid Studio — Start Here 🖊️

Welcome to Brush Lettering Consistency & Monetization Mastery.

You just made a serious investment in your craft — and your future income. Here's how to get the absolute most out of this program.

How to Get Started

  1. Go to the Course — Work through each module sequentially. Module 1 builds the physical foundation everything else depends on. Don't skip it.

  2. Do the Drills Daily — Module 2 is where transformation happens. Consistency compounds. 15 minutes a day beats 2 hours once a week.

  3. Post Your Work in Chat — Share your drill sheets, letterforms, and finished pieces. Feedback accelerates growth faster than solo practice.

  4. Build While You Learn — Modules 4 and 5 aren't "someday" content. Start building your portfolio and pricing your offers while you're still drilling.

What's Included

  • Full Course — 18 lessons across 5 modules covering technique, style development, monetization, and business launch

  • Community Chat — Direct access to me and fellow students for feedback, accountability, and collaboration

  • Updates & Resources — New drills, templates, and business resources posted here regularly

The Rule

Show up every day. Even 10 minutes of intentional grid work moves you forward. The people who earn from their lettering are the ones who drilled when they didn't feel like it.

Let's get to work.

The Grid Paper Drill That Fixed My Inconsistent Lettering in 14 Days

Most brush lettering looks good on the third attempt and terrible on the thirtieth. That's not a talent problem — it's a muscle memory problem. And muscle memory is built through structured repetition, not free-styling on blank paper.

Here's the exact drill framework I use and teach:

The 8-Stroke Grid Protocol

Every letter in the alphabet is built from 8 fundamental strokes. Before you touch a single letter, you master these on grid paper:

  1. Full-pressure downstroke — Fill one grid square, top to bottom, with maximum pressure. Repeat 50x.

  2. Hairline upstroke — Lightest possible touch, bottom to top. Same grid square height. 50x.

  3. Overturn — Thick down, transition, thin up in one fluid motion. 30x.

  4. Underturn — Thin up, transition, thick down. 30x.

  5. Compound curve — Overturn + underturn connected. 20x.

  6. Oval — Counter-clockwise, maintaining thick-thin contrast. 20x.

  7. Ascending loop — Thin up into loop, thick down. 20x.

  8. Descending loop — Thick down into loop, thin up. 20x.

Why Grid Paper Changes Everything

The grid gives you external reference points that blank paper doesn't. You can immediately see:

  • Are your downstrokes the same width?

  • Are your x-heights consistent?

  • Are your letter spacings even?

Without the grid, your eye lies to you. With it, inconsistency has nowhere to hide.

The 14-Day Test

Do 15 minutes of these drills daily for 14 days. Photograph day 1 and day 14 side by side. The difference will be undeniable.

If you want the full system — all 8 strokes broken down with video guidance, letter-by-letter grid drills for the entire alphabet, daily routines, plus a complete monetization playbook for turning your lettering into income — that's exactly what I built inside Brush Lettering Mastery.

Consistency isn't talent. It's training.
