The 5 boundaries every 20-something needs to set (before it's too late)

Most people in their 20s have zero boundaries. They say yes to everything, drain their energy on people who don't reciprocate, and wonder why they feel burned out at 25.

Here are the 5 that changed everything for me:

1. The phone boundary — No notifications before 9 AM. Your morning sets your day. Guard it.

2. The energy boundary — If someone consistently leaves you feeling worse, that's data. Act on it.

3. The "yes" boundary — Every yes to something meaningless is a no to something that matters. Get comfortable disappointing people.

4. The comparison boundary — Unfollow anyone who makes you feel behind. Your timeline is yours.

5. The rest boundary — Rest is not laziness. Your body and mind need recovery to perform. Schedule it like a meeting.

I built Innerwalk because I wish someone had handed me this framework at 20 instead of 28. Every month we run a new 30-day challenge — boundaries, prayer, discipline, gratitude — designed for young adults who want to actually change, not just talk about it.

If any of this hit, you know where to find us.
