If your clients are cheap, it's because your offer is.
Most agencies and freelancers don't have a lead problem. They have a filtering problem.
They post, they DM, they hop on "discovery calls" with anyone who shows interest — then they wonder why the client haggles, ghosts invoices, and wants weekly free strategy.
Here's the pattern I keep seeing:
You price the work around what you need this month, not what the result is worth.
You take the first person who says yes, so you never practice saying no.
You over-deliver to keep them, which trains them that extra is included.
Landing better clients is not a personality upgrade. It's a system: who you let in, what you charge, and what happens after they pay.
If you can't name your last three clients' acquisition source, your price, and why they stayed — you don't have a system. You have hope.
Fix the filter. The rest of the business gets quieter.
