Why most brands fail at content (and how to fix it)
I've worked with dozens of e-commerce brands and personal brands over the years. The #1 mistake I see? They post content without a system.
Random posts = random results. Here's the framework I use with every client:
1. Audit your current presence. What's working? What's getting ignored? Most brands skip this and just start posting more of what doesn't work.
2. Build a content engine, not a content calendar. A calendar tells you WHEN to post. An engine tells you WHAT to post, WHY it'll resonate, and HOW to repurpose it across platforms.
3. Prioritize hooks over aesthetics. A perfectly designed post that no one stops scrolling for is worthless. The first 1-2 seconds decide everything.
4. Measure what matters. Likes don't pay rent. Track saves, shares, DMs, and link clicks — those are buying signals.
If you're an e-commerce brand or personal brand looking for a team that actually understands this, Irmo Official is open for new clients. We handle strategy, content creation, and social media management end-to-end.
