The 3 mistakes that keep beginners stuck (and what to do instead)

I've watched hundreds of beginners spin their wheels in the gym. Same three mistakes every time.

1. Program hopping every 2 weeks

You found a program on Reddit, did it for 10 days, didn't see abs, and switched. That's not training — that's cardio with extra steps. Pick ONE program. Run it for 8-12 weeks minimum. Progressive overload only works if you give it time.

2. Eating "clean" but not enough

You swapped chips for rice cakes and feel virtuous. Cool. But you're eating 1,400 calories and wondering why you can't bench more than the bar. If you're training hard, you need fuel. Track your protein for one week — most beginners are getting half of what they need.

3. Skipping the boring stuff

Sleep. Water. Walking. Nobody posts these on Instagram, but they matter more than your pre-workout or your creatine brand. 7+ hours of sleep will do more for your physique than any supplement on the market.

The fix? Consistency over complexity. Do less, but do it for longer. That's the entire game.
