If I ever take on freelance work, I won't charge hourly. Here's why.

Hourly pricing has a fundamental problem: it punishes efficiency.

The faster and better you are, the less you earn. A developer who solves your problem in 2 hours gets paid less than one who takes 8. The incentive is completely backwards.

It's also bad for the client.

Hourly means unpredictable costs. You start a project with an estimate, but every question, every revision, every unexpected complexity adds to the bill. The client has no idea what they're actually paying until it's over.

Fixed pricing fixes both problems.

The developer scopes the work upfront, prices it based on value and complexity, not hours, and delivers. If they finish early, great. If something takes longer than expected, that's their problem to manage, not the client's.

It also changes the relationship. Instead of a developer watching the clock, you have someone focused entirely on the outcome.

The only reason hourly pricing still exists is habit. It's familiar. It feels safe. But it protects the wrong person.

For the client: always ask for fixed pricing on well-defined work.

For the developer: price your value, not your time.

A feature that takes you 2 hours but saves the client $10,000 is not worth 2 hours of your rate. It's worth a percentage of what it saves them.

That's how I think about pricing. And when I work with clients, that's how I structure it.

Not every project is worth taking.

It took me a while to learn that. Early on I said yes to everything. Now I ask these questions before committing to anything:

1. Does the client know what they want, or are they figuring it out at my expense?

Vague briefs don't become clear briefs. They become scope creep, missed expectations, and awkward conversations about money. If a client can't explain what success looks like, the project isn't ready.

2. Is there a real deadline or just urgency?

"We need this ASAP" is not a deadline. Real deadlines have reasons behind them, a launch, an event, a business dependency. Fake urgency usually means disorganized thinking, not a tight timeline.

3. Are they looking for a developer or a decision maker?

Some clients want someone to build exactly what they specify. Others want someone who'll push back when the spec is wrong. I'm the second type. If a client wants a yes-man, we're not a good fit.

4. Will I be able to do my best work?

Bad constraints produce bad work. If the budget doesn't match the scope, the timeline doesn't allow for quality, or the communication style will make collaboration painful, the outcome won't reflect what I'm capable of.

The right project with the right client produces work worth showing. The wrong one just produces stress and a portfolio piece you'd rather not mention.

I'd rather do fewer projects well than more projects poorly.

Your landing page is beautiful. That's the problem.

High-intent traffic, zero conversions. Not a marketing issue, a clarity issue.

Fix your hero section before you spend another dollar on ads.

Full breakdown coming next. 👇

How I Build Landing Pages That Actually Convert

You’re spending thousands on ads… just to send people to a bad landing page.

In this reel, I break down:

- Why slow websites kill conversions

- The biggest landing page mistakes founders make

- How I build high-converting pages using Next.js, Tailwind CSS, Framer, and - Vercel

- The psychology behind multi-step forms

- How to turn clicks into qualified leads

If your landing page is slow, cluttered, or asking too much too early… you’re losing money before the sale even starts.

Fast load times. Clean UI. Smooth animations. Better conversions.

I am not going to use my own web app (Prospkt).

Before I start properly using the platform for outreach, there are still a few things I need to set up first:

• A dedicated cold-calling number

• Better outreach infrastructure

• Some personal priorities I need to handle this week

Using your personal number for cold outreach probably isn’t the smartest move 😅

That said, I’ll keep posting updates consistently.

More updates coming soon 🚀

AI Analysis Was Timing Out, Here’s the Architecture Fix

Post-launch update for Prospkt 🚀

After launching the app and testing it with real usage, I ran into a major issue:

⚠️ Netlify function timeouts.

AI analysis and website analysis can take longer than 10–15 seconds, causing requests to fail before users receive results.

So I redesigned the architecture.

New approach:

• Main app remains the source of truth

• Background functions handle AI + analysis workloads

• Results are sent back asynchronously

• Better scalability + better UX

This is one of the realities of building AI products in production — architecture matters more than features.

Would you design it differently?

👇 Let me know how you’d solve long-running AI tasks.

Most founders and creators know they should be posting reels consistently.

Almost none of them do. Because it takes hours they don't have.

So I built Klipse to solve that, for myself first, then for anyone else with the same problem.

Here's how it works:

You define your niche. You connect your publishing destination. You set how often you want content going out. That's it. Klipse takes care of everything else, generating the content, producing the video, publishing it on schedule.

No editing. No scripting. No staring at a blank screen wondering what to post.

In 1.5 months of running it on my own YouTube channel, it generated 856 views, 7 new subscribers, and 1.3 hours of watch time, completely on autopilot.

That's not life-changing numbers. But it's real traction from zero human effort after setup.

The founders and creators who struggle most with content aren't lazy — they're just doing five other things at once. Content keeps falling to the bottom of the list because it's the thing that feels least urgent until suddenly it's been three months and you've posted nothing.

Klipse removes it from the list entirely.

This is the kind of automation I love building, not flashy, just quietly useful. Solves a real problem, runs in the background, lets you focus on what actually moves your business.

If you're a founder or creator spending hours on content you wish could just happen, let's talk.
