NY sold the morning plan and confirmed his invalidation: GC faded the $๐,๐๐๐-$๐,๐๐๐ long zone into the cash open, broke under $๐,๐๐๐, tagged the $๐,๐๐๐ hard stop (~9:35 ET), and ground down to a $๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐ day low (~10:10 ET) before settling $๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐ into the close. The overnight high $๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐ never reprinted - buyers are spent at the highs.
His 9:36 AM read: more liquidity sits below all the lows - expect price lower to take out the 15m lows from Sep 30 ($๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐) and Sep 29; all the highs are already taken out, so little liquidity remains above - market goes lower.
My assessment: the first leg confirmed - price is -$43 from the overnight high and the $๐,๐๐๐ area failed twice (playbook rule 1: failed highs -> rotate to the lows). But the final sweep he predicted has NOT printed: today's low $๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐ held 1.3 pts above the Sep 30 low $๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐, so the low-side liquidity pool is still untapped. Thesis is live, not resolved - the short side has unfinished business below $๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐.
โข NY day high $๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐ - failed twice, now overhead supply
โข Current $๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐ - mid-range, dead center of the chop
โข Sep 30 low $๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐ - the line his read is aimed at, still standing
โข Deep long zone $๐,๐๐๐-$๐,๐๐๐ - $๐,๐๐๐ never swept, no valid long entry fired (no post-sweep local-high break)
โข Upside $๐,๐๐๐-$๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐ - liquidity above, untouched all day
โข $๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐ (overnight high): tested twice intraday, both failed - spent
โข $๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐ (Sep 30 low): NOT swept - $๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐ day low held 1.3 pts above it. Sell-side liquidity below is still sitting there
โข $๐,๐๐๐ (deep-zone floor): untouched - no sweep-reversal setup fired today
โข 18:00 ET reopen gapped DOWN -$๐โ ๐๐ spot (17:00 close $4,177.34 -> open $4,172.89; futures open $๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐ vs prior 17:00 close $๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐)
โข Now 100%+ filled - spot ran to $4,178.72 in the first hour after reopen, back above the prior 17:00 close. No magnet level left; the long-fade edge is gone
Structure is rule 1 all day: failed highs -> rotation toward the opposing lows. The Sep 30 low $๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐ sits 27 pts below current price with untouched sell-side liquidity under it, DXY printing a fresh leg (๐๐๐โ ๐๐) and the 10Y still ~๐โ ๐๐% - both headwinds into Tokyo. Favor shorts into the $๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐ pool.
โข Trigger (rule 2): expect the liquidity raid first - a push up toward $๐,๐๐๐-$๐,๐๐๐ that rejects with high-volume displacement on 5m/1m is the short entry, not a chase. Stop loss above the rejection high; target the $๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐ sweep
โข Flip condition (rules 3+4): if $๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐ sweeps and immediately reclaims, the short thesis dies on the reclaim - the long is only valid after the post-sweep local high breaks, stop loss below the swept low
โข If price just chops between $๐,๐๐๐ and $๐,๐๐๐ with no volume, sit out. Retail is 61% long (ForexFactory) - crowded, so no chasing longs into the highs
4:30 PM: JPY Tokyo Core CPI y/y (2.4% fcst) + Unemployment (2.4% fcst)
โข 4:50 PM: JPY Monetary Base y/y
โข CNY markets closed (bank holiday)
โข 2:00 AM Fri: EUR CPI Flash y/y (3.7% fcst), Core (2.5%)
โข 8:30 AM Fri: USD NFP (89K fcst), Unemployment (4.1%) - the big one; Asia exits before it prints
Short: stop loss above the rejection high in the $๐,๐๐๐-$๐,๐๐๐ raid zone; a 5m acceptance back above $๐,๐๐๐ kills the short thesis
โข Long (sweep-reversal): stop loss below the swept low; dead if the reclaim fails to break the post-sweep local high
โข 10Y near 24-year highs + DXY at 102 - macro headwind stays against any long into the session
โข NFP Friday 8:30 AM is outside the session, but positioning can start overnight - respect the tape
โข His risk: 0.5% ($250); max one signal this session
โข All prices GC futures. Spread note: spot XAUUSD $4,178.57 vs GC $๐,๐๐๐โ ๐๐ -> spread ๐๐โ ๐

If you just want entries to copy, take the signals membership. Mentorship is for traders who want to understand the chart for themselves.
Mentorship is for you if:
โข You want to learn price action properly โ breakout-retest, liquidity sweeps, volume confirmation
โข You want a real trader reviewing YOUR trades and your mistakes
โข You want a personal game plan for your sessions, not generic advice
โข You're ready to put in the screen time, beginner or experienced
Mentorship is NOT for you if you just want alerts and don't want to learn. That's what signals are for.
How it works: Zoom sessions (Jack sends a calendar link for booking), plus messaging access between sessions.
You'll need: MetaTrader 5, a funded account (purchased or self-funded), and a TradingView account. No refunds.

Every NY morning, signals members get the gold premarket brief โ and every evening, the Asian session brief. Same structure, twice a day, before the session opens.
โข Overnight recap โ what actually printed while you were asleep
โข Directional bias with exact levels โ Wednesday's brief called the fade at the $4,218โ$4,234 swept-high zone, invalidated on 15m acceptance above $4,234. Exact numbers, not vibes
โข The day's calendar โ which releases can move gold, and what each outcome means for the bias
โข Entry zones with invalidation, plus the chart with every level marked
All built on the price-action model: support/resistance, liquidity sweeps, breakout-retest with volume confirmation.

Asia ran the full sweep-reversal: raided the Sep 29 NY lows $๐,๐๐๐.๐๐ (wick $๐,๐๐๐.๐๐, 8:45 PM ET), reclaimed within minutes, then ripped +$53 to the overnight high $๐,๐๐๐.
Price now ~$๐,๐๐๐ after a pre-NY shakeout under $๐,๐๐๐.๐๐ (low $๐,๐๐๐.๐๐ at 7:20 AM) that held with volume and reclaimed โ the rule-2 liquidity raid completing before the real move.
Dollar at a new YTD high (101.848) and the 10Y at a 24-year high (5.31% overnight) are capping the tape; softer August core PCE (0.2% m/m) cut October hike odds to ~38%.
No TRADER'S NOTE from him this morning, so the read runs on the playbook against tonight's tape โ and the tape is textbook:
โข Rule 3 fired: swept lows, immediate reclaim, ripped to take out the highs. The pre-sweep short thesis is dead; the reversal leg is the move.
โข Rule 2 upside corollary: heavy buy momentum off the sweep favors continuation up โ the 7:20 AM raid down to $๐,๐๐๐.๐๐ that held is the bank manipulation before the real push; a dip toward $4,206โ$4,200 that holds is the trigger, not the breakdown.
โข Rule 1 is the risk case: if $๐,๐๐๐.๐๐โ$๐,๐๐๐ prints a failed high with displacement, rotation takes the lows back.

โข Now ~$๐,๐๐๐ | Overnight $4,169.40โ$๐,๐๐๐.

โข Sell-side: completed and reclaimed โ $๐,๐๐๐. ๐๐ raided overnight, stops taken, price closed back above. Raid is done.
โข Buy-side: $๐,๐๐๐. ๐๐ all still standing above โ resting pools for a push up; first touch is a fade candidate, not a breakout to chase.
โข No open gap โ the Sep 30 18:00 ET gap filled 100% overnight. No magnet level today.

Playbook 3 + 2: buy dips toward $๐,๐๐๐โ๐,๐๐๐ (evening-high breakout retest) rather than chasing $๐,๐๐๐.
The zone already triggered a monitor signal at 8:04 AM: LONG $๐,๐๐๐โ๐,๐๐๐, stop $๐,๐๐๐, T1 $๐,๐๐๐ / T2 $๐,๐๐๐.
Targets: $๐,๐๐๐.
Confirmation: 5m/1m dip into $๐,๐๐๐โ๐,๐๐๐ that holds with stopping volume, or a raid toward $4,200/$๐,๐๐๐.๐ that rejects with displacement = the real trigger (rule 4: wait for the local-high break, not the blind reclaim).
Short is trigger-only: a spike into $๐,๐๐๐โ๐,๐๐๐ that rejects with displacement shorts back toward $4,206/$๐,๐๐๐.

โข 15m acceptance back under $๐,๐๐๐.๐ stalls the continuation read โ the deep-pullback zone $๐,๐๐๐โ๐,๐๐๐ becomes live.
โข Failed high at $๐,๐๐๐.๐๐โ$๐,๐๐๐ with displacement flips the read: rule 1 rotation targets the lows ($๐,๐๐๐.
โข Macro headwind: DXY at new YTD high 101.848, 10Y at 5.31% (24-yr high) โ a dollar bid into ISM can fade any rally; Kashkari's hawkish tilt + 82% December-hike odds keep the lid on.
โข This is analysis to inform decisions, not a trade call.
