TRADING SIGNALS: MONDAY'S BRIEF IS ALREADY WATCHING $4,233.70

The closing bell's done โ€” and gold ripped sixty bucks overnight before it rang. The map for next week is already drawn.

โ€ข This morning's NY brief caught the rip live: gold tapped $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘.๐Ÿ•๐ŸŽ after sweeping Thursday's $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ•๐ŸŽ.๐Ÿ•๐ŸŽ high โ€” the read was LONG-leaning but don't chase it. The real trigger: a raid down into the $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ’โ€“$๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ” shelf that snaps back up.

โ€ข Monday's brief starts exactly there โ€” does that shelf hold as support, or does price accept under $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ“ and flip it short toward $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ”.๐Ÿ’๐ŸŽ and the unswept $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ–.๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ low?

โ€ข That's the job: two briefs every trading day โ€” the read, the key levels, the exact trigger price, and the kill line that says the read is wrong. Plus the chart. Never chase, never guess.

๐Ÿšจ ๐‹๐Ž๐๐† โ€” Gold futures (GC1!) โ€” NY session

Entry: ~$4,212 (holding above the $4,194โ€“$4,206 shelf)

Stop loss: $4,206 โ€” 15m acceptance under $4,195 kills the long

Target 1: $4,230 (3R)

Target 2: $4,233.70 (overnight high)

Size: 4 MGC โ€” $240 risk (0.48%)

What happened: the overnight $4,194โ€“$4,206 acceptance shelf held โ€” the 10:30 5m wicked to $4,207.7 and closed bullish, and the 1m tape has been grinding higher since. Continuation toward the $4,233.70 overnight high.

What kills it: 15m acceptance under $4,195.

โ€ข You get a session-based game plan (NY, London, Asian) built around your style

โ€ข Messaging access between sessions โ€” you never trade stuck alone

๐๐ฎ๐ข๐œ๐ค ๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐š๐ฉ

โ€ข Wednesday sold off to $๐Ÿ’,๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ.๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ after the hawkish FOMC minutes, then bounced into the close; overnight Tokyo ripped $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ โ†’ $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ”.๐Ÿ–๐ŸŽ, sweeping Wednesday's $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ‘.๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ high, then faded back to ~$๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ’ as New York wakes up. Buyers took control overnight, but the morning is drifting, not charging.

๐‰๐š๐œ๐ค'๐ฌ ๐›๐ข๐š๐ฌ

โ€ข No new dictation from him today, so this runs off his playbook against the tape. The read is ๐‹๐Ž๐๐†-leaning into the New York session โ€” Rules 2 and 6. The overnight buy push was heavy (Tokyo rip $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‘๐ŸŽ โ†’ $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ”.๐Ÿ–๐ŸŽ, and the swept $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ‘.๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ high has held above it for hours), so continuation up is more likely than a wash back through the lows โ€” BUT expect the banks to raid DOWN first (Rule 2's raid-first). The morning drift toward the overnight low is shaping up as that raid leg, not the start of a new selloff.

โ€ข If that raid comes โ€” a push that sweeps $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ–.๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ (overnight low / reopen floor) and snaps back with displacement โ€” that's the long trigger toward $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ”.๐Ÿ–๐ŸŽ, not a breakdown to chase. And if price pushes down a couple of times and can't print lower lows, sellers are spent and the push up is coming (Rule 6). Don't buy mid-range at $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“๐ŸŽ โ€” that's his Loser-2 mistake (chasing, extended from the level); the entry is at the zone, not the middle.

โ€ข Honest tension in the read: the high got swept and held, which is bullish structure โ€” but retail is 58% long into this bounce (holding only 41% of the lots), and the backdrop is a headwind: hawkish minutes with another hike on the table for December, DXY ~102.3 near multi-month highs, 10Y ~5.3% near a 24-year high. Crowded retail long into highs is fade caution โ€” so the long is the patient raid-fade, never a breakout chase.

โ€ข Flip: 15m acceptance under $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ–.๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ kills the long read โ†’ Rule 1 takes over (failed high $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ”.๐Ÿ–๐ŸŽ โ†’ rotate to take the lows): first $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ–.๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ, then the $๐Ÿ’,๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ.๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ Wednesday low. A fast sweep of $๐Ÿ’,๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ.๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ that snaps straight back flips long on Rule 4 confirmation (break of the post-sweep local high), never blind.

๐Š๐ž๐ฒ ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฌ

โ€ข $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ”.๐Ÿ–๐ŸŽ โ€” overnight high; swept Wednesday's high, the raid pool above; a rejection with displacement here is the Rule-1 short

โ€ข $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ‘.๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ โ€” Wednesday's high, swept overnight, now support; holding above keeps the long structure intact

โ€ข $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ–.๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ โ€” overnight low / 18:00 reopen floor; the raid target โ€” a sweep + snap-back is the long trigger, 15m acceptance under it kills the read

โ€ข $๐Ÿ’,๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ.๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ โ€” Wednesday's low, untouched; the rotation target if $4,128.10 gives way (Rule 1)

๐ƒ๐š๐ฒ ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐ง โ€” ๐‹๐Ž๐๐†

โ€ข 8:30 data: jobless claims printed 197K vs 200K expected (prev 197K) โ€” steady at the lows, mildly dollar-negative; GC bid to ~$๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ’, holding above the swept $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ‘.๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ high, so the ๐‹๐Ž๐๐† read stands.

โ€ข Don't chase $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ’: wait for the raid down into $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ–โ€“$๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ” โ€” a sweep of the $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ–.๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ overnight low that reclaims with displacement on the 5m/1m is the trigger toward $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ”.๐Ÿ–๐ŸŽ.

โ€ข Flip: 15m acceptance under $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ–.๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ kills it โ†’ Rule 1 rotation toward $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ– / $๐Ÿ’,๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ.๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ; a rejection with displacement at $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ”๐Ÿ”.๐Ÿ–๐ŸŽ is the short (fade the failed high).

โ€ข Risk 0.5% ($250), one signal max.

๐๐ฎ๐ข๐œ๐ค ๐ซ๐ž๐œ๐š๐ฉ

New York spent the whole day selling. The push up the morning brief waited for never came โ€” gold broke the $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ“ low, flushed to $๐Ÿ’,๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ, then ground back up to $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ. The 18:00 reopen gap (+$๐Ÿ‘.๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ) filled in the first hour.

The 2:00 PM Fed minutes spiked gold to $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ” and faded right back down. Sellers are still in control heading into Tokyo.

๐‰๐š๐œ๐ค'๐ฌ ๐›๐ข๐š๐ฌ

He didn't dictate a TRADER'S NOTE today, so tonight's read runs off his playbook against the tape.

๐’๐‡๐Ž๐‘๐“ โ€” sellers are in control and the failed highs say so (Rule 1: failed highs โ†’ rotate to take the lows). Tuesday's $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ and the overnight $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ– were never revisited, and today's two rallies โ€” $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“๐Ÿ‘ at 1:00 PM and $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ” right after the Fed minutes โ€” both rejected and faded. The rotation took the day low at $๐Ÿ’,๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ; the liquidity sits below, not above. Retail is 58% long traders but only 41% long lots โ€” the crowd is long into a down day, which backs the short lean, not against it.

But the day's sell momentum was heavy, so expect the raid first (Rule 2): Tokyo opens at 8:00 PM and the banks like to push UP first โ€” a push into the $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŽ-$๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ” sell zone that rejects with 5m/1m displacement is the short trigger, not a breakout to chase. Tonight's targets below are $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ, then the day low at $๐Ÿ’,๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ.

What flips it: 15m acceptance above $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ” kills the short โ€” that re-opens the day-session highs. And if the $๐Ÿ’,๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ day low gets swept and reclaims fast, Rule 3/4 flips it long โ€” that's the one long setup I'm watching.

๐Š๐ž๐ฒ ๐ฅ๐ž๐ฏ๐ž๐ฅ๐ฌ

โ€ข $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŽ-$๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ” โ€” sell zone: prior 17:00 close, 18:00 reopen open, Fed-minutes spike high; watch for rejection

โ€ข $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ– โ€” reopen-hour low; held the gap fill, the floor under tonight's open

โ€ข $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐ŸŽ-$๐Ÿ’,๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ โ€” day low $๐Ÿ’,๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ, not swept, the target below

โ€ข $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ– โ€” overnight high, untouched and far overhead; sellers never let buyers reclaim it

๐“๐จ๐ง๐ข๐ ๐ก๐ญ'๐ฌ ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐š๐ง โ€” ๐’๐‡๐Ž๐‘๐“

Wait for the Tokyo-open raid push up into the $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’๐ŸŽ-$๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ” sell zone, then short the rejection with 5m/1m displacement confirmation. What kills it: 15m acceptance above $๐Ÿ’,๐Ÿ๐Ÿ’๐Ÿ” โ€” then the flip is a sweep of the $๐Ÿ’,๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ—๐Ÿ day low with a fast reclaim (long, Rule 3/4).

Risk 0.5% ($๐Ÿ๐Ÿ“๐ŸŽ), one signal max.
