Why every creator needs a chibi mascot (and it's not just because they're cute)
Here's something most creators overlook:
your audience remembers characters way more than logos.
Think about it,
The channels you actually remember have a face. A mascot. Something that shows up in emotes, thumbnails, merch, and banners. It ties everything together.
A chibi mascot specifically works because:
It's instantly recognizable at any size (emotes, profile pics, stickers)
It carries personality without needing words
It scales from a 28x28 Twitch emote to a full merch print
It's way more approachable than a corporate logo
I've been drawing chibis for creators for a while now, and the ones who get a custom character early always end up using it everywhere including stream overlays, Discord emotes, YouTube thumbnails, merch drops.
If you're building a brand as a creator, your character IS your brand. The sooner you lock it in, the sooner everything else starts feeling cohesive.
Commissions are open at Kaetarts! Starting at $30 for personal use, $75 with commercial rights. Full branding suites with buyout available too.
