Agencies don't get paid for n8n. They get paid for replacing a person.
Most "AI automation" offers are a folder of JSON files and a Loom.
That is not what a local agency, an ecom brand, or a coaching shop will pay $2k–$8k for.
They pay when you take one painful job off someone's plate:
Lead follow-up that actually books the call
Client onboarding that doesn't live in 14 Google Docs
Weekly reporting that doesn't take Friday afternoon
The workflow is the delivery vehicle. The product is "this role is gone."
If you resell automations, pick one job, ship it end-to-end, and charge for the hours you deleted. Templates are how you stop rebuilding the same thing for every client.
