A number without a source is not a system
Most household advice on YouTube is a mood. A man in a garage holds up a bag of rice and a number appears on screen. No table. No agency. No date.
A household is four systems: money, food and water, privacy, readiness. Each one can be written down on a page. Each figure on that page should point to a named public source you can look up without watching anyone.
If you cannot name the source, you do not have a figure. You have a feeling.
That is the whole method. The book is just that method applied, chapter by chapter, with three things to do at the end of each one.
Start with the ledger, not the pantry. Food you cannot pay for is not a store.
