Why most parlay bettors lose (and how to fix it)
Most people building parlays are just stacking favorites and praying. That's not a strategy β that's a lottery ticket.
Here's what I've learned from years of capping games:
1. Correlation matters more than odds. If you're mixing NFL with NBA with random soccer, you're adding noise. Build parlays within the same sport, same slate, and look for correlated outcomes (e.g. a team winning AND the over hitting because their offense is elite).
2. Stop chasing massive payouts. 3-4 leg parlays with +300 to +600 odds hit way more consistently than 8-leggers at +50000. The math works better when you're not fighting a 95% loss rate.
3. Line shopping is non-negotiable. A half point matters. If you're only using one book, you're leaving money on the table every single day.
4. Data over gut. I break down matchups using pace, defensive efficiency, injury impact, and situational spots. Not vibes.
I post daily parlay picks with full breakdowns inside my group. If you want picks that actually have logic behind them, come through.
