The 3-module structure that gets a Whop course finished (most people overbuild and never launch)
Most creators trying to build a Whop course never ship it. Not because the content isn't good — because they try to build 12 modules before launching 1.
Here's the structure that actually gets courses published:
Module 1: The Core Promise
One module. One transformation. If you can't state the outcome in one sentence ("you'll go from X to Y"), you're not ready to record yet. Write the promise first, build backward from it.
Module 2: The Build
This is where you actually structure chapters and lessons inside Whop — not where you write a script for every lesson before recording anything. Get 3-5 lessons live, each solving one specific sub-problem of the core promise. Ship this module before touching module 3.
Module 3: The Distribution Layer
This is the module most people skip entirely, and it's why their course sits empty. Before you "launch," you need:
An affiliate program turned on (even a flat 20-30% commission gets partners moving product for you)
2-3 pieces of swipe copy ready to hand to an affiliate or post yourself
One outreach script to DM potential collaborators — cold and warm versions
Ship modules 1-3 in that order and you have a live, sellable course with a distribution engine attached — instead of a half-finished folder of Google Docs.
If you want the exact templates (curriculum map, pricing/trial framework, affiliate swipe copy, and the DM scripts), they're in our course here. Happy to answer questions on any of the above in the comments.
