Your first layer is failing for one of three reasons
Most “my printer is broken” tickets are not a broken printer. They are a first layer.
1. The bed is dirty. Finger oil is enough. Wash glass/PEI with dish soap, dry it, and stop wiping with IPA as the only step.
2. Z offset is 0.05mm off. Too high: the line looks round and peels. Too low: the nozzle scrapes and the line goes translucent. Print a single-layer 40mm square and look at it. Don't change five settings at once.
3. Bed temp doesn't match the filament, not the YouTube video. PLA on a cold bed in a garage in winter will lift. 60°C is a starting point, not a religion. If corners lift and the square looks otherwise good, raise bed 5°C once. Stop there.
If the nozzle is actually clogged, or the printer won't home, that's a machine problem — a live hour of support is the right buy. If the machine homes and extrudes, fix the first layer before you buy a new printer.
That's the whole diagnostic.
