The 10-minute follow-up check most agents skip
A lead rarely dies in negotiation. It dies in the gap between “I’ll get back to them” and nothing happening.
If you get leads from Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, your website, referrals, or ads, run this check once a day. Ten minutes. No new ads required.
1. One list, not six inboxes
Write down every open conversation that is not a closed appointment. If it only lives in DMs, it is not being managed.
2. Score, don’t guess
Mark each one HOT, WARM, or COLD.
HOT: they asked a real question, named a timeline, or requested a showing
WARM: they engaged, then went quiet
COLD: no reply, or “just looking”
The person who messaged an hour ago is not automatically first.
3. Decide the next touch before you open the chat
Call, voice note, or a specific question. “Just checking in” is how threads go quiet.
4. Put a date on the next one
If there is no next date, there is no follow-up. There is only hope.
This is the operating system, not a personality trait. Agents who look “naturally consistent” are usually running a list.
Lead Follow-Up OS is built around this loop: capture, score, sequence, move toward an appointment. It does not generate leads and it does not guarantee closings. It stops you from wondering who to follow up with, when, and what to say next.
