Tonight at 7:30pm, Jordan is going live inside The Sales University to teach a practical session on idea generation and content production.

This is not just a session on “posting more”.

The real question is how to create content that actually does a job.

It needs to attract attention, give people a reason to follow, start conversations, build trust, and eventually move people towards becoming leads or buyers.

Jordan will be breaking down a simple system for doing that consistently.

You’ll learn how to take one topic and turn it into multiple pieces of content by changing the format, the purpose and the delivery. For example, the same idea can become a reel, a carousel, a single image, a talking-head video, a B-roll clip, or a more polished content piece depending on what you want it to achieve.

He’ll also cover what makes reels work properly, including hooks, captions, audio, B-roll and retention, so you are not just filming random clips and hoping they perform.

The session will also go into production workflow: how to capture ideas, turn them into a filming list, organise raw clips, add polish, and build a repeatable system so your content does not depend on motivation on the day.

This will be especially useful if you know you should be posting more, but you either run out of ideas, overthink what to say, or never quite get the content out consistently.

Live sales training: 7:30pm tonight

The main idea is simple: most people do not have a small market. They have a small map of the market.

There are usually far more potential leads, conversations and routes into a niche than people realise. The issue is that most reps and business owners only look in the obvious places, send the same kind of messages, and then assume the market is dry when the pipeline goes quiet.

Tonight’s session will break down how to think about lead generation properly.

You’ll learn how to identify where your market is already revealing itself, how to use platforms like Instagram, Facebook groups and LinkedIn more intelligently, how to turn engagement into conversations, and how to follow up without sounding desperate or generic.

We’ll also cover how to track leads properly, because if you are not tracking the source, stage, context and next action, you do not really have a pipeline. You just have a memory test.

This will be especially useful if you know you should be creating more conversations, but you are currently relying on one channel, one tactic, or waiting for people to come to you.

The live call starts tonight at 7:30pm - find the link in the Live Events section of Whop or in the WhatsApp group.

One useful lesson I’d like to highlight is how to talk about price without making the whole conversation feel awkward.

A lot of reps either avoid price completely until the end, or they bring it up in a way that makes it feel heavier than it needs to be. Neither is ideal.

The better approach is to keep price in context.

If something costs £5,000, the prospect needs to understand what it is being compared against. What would a similar level of support usually cost? What would it cost to hire someone? What would it cost to figure it out alone through trial and error? What does the market normally charge for this kind of result?

That is price anchoring.

You are not just throwing out a number and hoping they accept it. You are helping them understand the value of the offer before they judge the cost.

The important point is that anchoring is not the same as discounting.

Discounting should only be used when there is a real reason for it. If the reason feels fake, the prospect can feel it immediately. “Only three spots left” does not work if everyone knows there are not really only three spots left.

But when the reason is honest, it can work.

For example, a rep saying, “I can do this today because it saves me chasing it for the next two weeks,” is much more believable than invented urgency.

The main lesson is simple: do not be strange about price.

Explain the value. Put the number in context. Be honest about any discount. And remember that if the prospect still cannot see how the offer helps them, making it cheaper will not fix the problem.

A price objection is not always a price problem.

Sometimes the offer just has not been made clear enough yet.

Tonight we have a live sales training session, and the focus is one of the most practical things you can get right in lead generation: finding the low-hanging fruit.

Most people make lead generation harder than it needs to be. They go straight for the dream client who takes months to reply, when the fastest results come from the people who are easiest to reach and most likely to say yes. Starting there is how you build momentum and proof quickly, instead of grinding away for weeks with nothing to show for it.

Tonight I will go through how to find those leads: where they are, how to spot them, and how to prioritise them so your outreach starts landing sooner.

If you are building or working a lead list right now, it is worth being on.

You’ll find it in the Live Events section on Whop.

A quick one today: if you are not already in it, come and join us on WhatsApp.

It is the fastest way to stay close to everything happening here. It is where reminders for the live sessions go out, where updates land first, and where the rest of the members and affiliates are - sharing wins, asking questions, and keeping each other moving.

The work is always easier when you are not doing it on your own, and the group is the simplest way to plug into that.

The link to join is in the member chat. Jump in and say hello.

Which number is letting you down?

Today's lesson is about a question almost everyone in sales asks, and the far better question they should be asking instead.

The common question is "am I any good at this?" It usually arrives after a bad week, and it brings friends: the offer must be wrong, the market must be dead, I am probably not cut out for sales. The problem with that question is not that it is negative. The problem is that it is useless. It hands you a feeling, not a fix. You cannot do anything with "it is going badly" except feel worse.

So replace it. The question that actually moves you forward is far less dramatic: which number is letting me down?

Here is why that works. Sales is not one thing you are either good or bad at. It is a sequence of stages, and each stage has a conversion rate. You make outreach attempts, and some of them turn into conversations. Some of those conversations turn into real opportunities, where a real prospect with a real problem is considering buying. Some of those opportunities turn into closed deals. And each closed deal is worth a certain amount of money. That is the whole machine. Your results are simply those numbers multiplied together.

The moment you start tracking them, something shifts. A vague sense of failure turns into a specific, fixable problem, because the four numbers are never equally weak. One of them is almost always the culprit, and which one it is tells you precisely what to work on.

Say you are making plenty of attempts but barely any of them become conversations. That is not a closing problem. No amount of objection-handling practice will help you, because you are not getting far enough to use it. The weakness is at the top: your targeting, your list, or your opener. Fix those and the rest of the funnel finally has something to work with.

Now say the opposite. You are having plenty of conversations, but very few of them turn into real opportunities. The leak is in the middle. You are getting people talking but not uncovering a problem worth solving, or not framing it sharply enough for them to care. That is a discovery and qualification issue, and it is a completely different skill from the one above.

Or say you have no shortage of real opportunities, but they keep stalling and never close. Now, and only now, is it a closing problem, which usually comes down to objections, pricing, or conviction. This is the stage most people obsess over, and for many of them it is not even where the money is leaking.

And finally, you might be closing perfectly well but still not earning what you want, in which case the issue is not your selling at all. It is your pricing, or the size of the deals you are choosing to take on.

Notice what has happened here. Four people could say the exact same sentence - "sales is not working for me" - and be describing four completely different problems with four completely different solutions. This is why simply working harder so often fails. People double down on effort without knowing which stage is broken, and frequently pour that effort into the wrong one. Someone drills their close for hours when their real problem is that they only have two conversations a week. Someone chases more leads when their list is fine and their opener is the thing quietly killing them.

You do not need anything sophisticated to do this properly. The same simple sheet you used to build your lead list will do. Each week, write down four numbers: how many attempts you made, how many became conversations, how many became real opportunities, and how many closed. Then watch the ratios between them. Give it a few weeks rather than a single day, because one day tells you nothing - a bad Tuesday is noise, while a pattern across three weeks is information. The ratios are where the truth lives.

The deeper shift here is one of identity, and it is worth sitting with. "Am I good at sales?" is an emotional question with no useful answer, and it keeps you trapped in a story about yourself. "Which number is letting me down?" is a practical question with a clear answer, and it places the problem outside you, where you can do something about it. That is the difference between agonising and diagnosing. Amateurs agonise. Professionals diagnose, find the weak number, and go to work on it.

So this week, stop grading yourself and start counting. The number that is letting you down is the most useful thing you can know, because it is the one thing that tells you exactly what to fix.

Tonight at 7:30pm Jordan is running this week's live social media training. The focus is Instagram, and specifically the two things that decide whether your content grows: getting views, and never running short of ideas.

The first half is about carousels. They are one of the most underrated formats on the platform right now, because they earn saves and shares and hold people on the post far longer than a single image ever will - and the algorithm pays close attention to exactly that. We will look at what makes a carousel worth swiping through, starting with the first slide, which has to do the same job a Reel hook does: stop the scroll.

Then we move into idea generation, which is where most people stall. We will be presenting a curiosity-loop generation tool that you can all use to come up with ideas for your next Reel. The principle behind it is simple: the strongest content opens a loop in the viewer's mind - a question they need answered - and holds it open long enough to keep them watching. The tool gives you a repeatable way to generate ideas built on exactly that, so coming up with concepts stops being the hard part.

You will leave with a clearer sense of what to post, and a method for producing more of it on demand.

7:30pm tonight, in the Live Events section on Whop.
