The 15-Minute Rule That Saved My Relationship
Most couples don't break up because of one big fight. They break up because of thousands of tiny disconnections.
You stop asking how their day went. You start scrolling instead of talking. You fall asleep next to someone you haven't really seen in weeks.
I spent years studying what actually keeps couples connected — not the "go on more date nights" advice, but the daily micro-habits that rebuild closeness even when life is chaotic.
Here's one that works every time:
The 15-Minute Connection Window
Pick one moment each day — morning coffee, after dinner, before bed — and make it sacred. No phones. No logistics talk. Just presence.
Ask one of these:
"What's one thing that stressed you out today?"
"What's something you're looking forward to?"
"Is there anything you need from me right now?"
That's it. 15 minutes. Every day.
It sounds almost too simple. But consistency beats intensity every single time. The couples who stay close aren't the ones who plan elaborate vacations — they're the ones who show up in the small moments.
I built an entire system around this principle. If it resonates, come check out what we're doing at Life Blueprint Co.
