In this Edition, we will expose the questionable practices of a Scopus Indexed Journal (added recently during December 2025) named Shodhkosh: Journal of Visual and Performing Arts, a journal which got discontinued earlier during July 2024 in UGC CARE Group 1. We will discuss in detail their review criteria, journal submission process, acceptance and publication time, other reputed indexing if available, Article Processing Charges what they had quoted in website vs the charges they collect through the back door by “agents”.

DOI of Shodhkosh journal is not verifiable in doi.org or Crossref. Same DOI is being used by IJESRT Journal and IJOEST Journal (Granthaalayah Publications and Printers).

An Anonymous ‘Advocate’, supporting this Journal, a Proxy Owner, runs a private Telegram Channel (Telegram Channel name: Scopus| WOS| UGC| IEEE| Taylor & Francis , Telegram Username: @ScopusWOSPublication) with over 9900 subscribers 'sells' author positions for fast-track predatory questionable journals indexed in Scopus, Web of Science and Science Citation Index Expanded and back-dated journal publications as well. This person also sells author positions for Indian Design Patent. The same practices were followed in Whatsapp too. They are associated with Global Edge Printers and Publishers.

This Practice has been ongoing – A Person named Mr.N.Madhan Kumar, who is listed as the Program Coordinator for Global Human Peace University (GHPU) (which also gives Honorary Awards / Honorary Doctorate Awards), who also handles the coordination, student/candidate intake, and logistical processing for the Honorary Doctorate selection committees approached the anonymous person (who messaged me in Whatsapp on 11.8.2026) for award of Honorary Doctorate through an Appointment Letter stating that the Award Ceremony will take place on 29th August,2026 at Pondicherry.

The leadership, operations, and promotional activities of Global Human Peace University (GHPU), its Virtual Institute, and United American University (UAU) share a core network of individuals. These individuals alternate or co-sign roles to organize events and issue honorary doctorates.
