The pricing page mistake that's killing your annual plan conversion
Ran this test across a handful of Job Board Premium sellers: most annual plan pages show 3 prices side by side with zero visual hierarchy. Weekly, monthly, annual — all the same size font, same button color. Customers default to the smallest number they recognize, which is almost never the annual plan.
The fix that actually moved the needle: make the weekly price the visual "decoy." Show it first, in a plain gray box, no border. Then make the annual plan the biggest box in the middle, with a border, a "Most Popular" tag, and the price framed as "per week" instead of "per year" (e.g. "$159/week, billed annually" beats "$8,268/year" every time — same math, completely different reaction).
One more thing: never let the annual plan be the cheapest-looking option by accident. If your monthly plan's total button says "$79/mo" and your annual says "$950/yr," people anchor on the smaller number even though annual is the better deal. Reframe annual to a weekly or daily equivalent so it's never the "big scary number" on the page.
Small layout change, meaningfully different close rate. Happy to go deeper on the specific pricing table structure if anyone wants it.
