The 3 sites every PC gamer should check before buying anything full price

Quick one for anyone still buying games at full price on Steam — you're leaving money on the table. Here's the actual rotation I use to find legit key deals:

1. IsThereAnyDeal — aggregates prices across every key reseller and storefront. Set a price alert on a wishlist game and it'll ping you the moment it drops.

2. SteamDB Sales page — shows historical low prices, so you know if a "70% off" is actually the lowest it's ever been or just marketing.

3. Epic's free weekly games — most people forget to claim these. It takes 10 seconds and it's free. Set a recurring reminder.

The pattern that matters more than any single site: prices cycle. AAA titles almost always hit -50% within 6 months and -75% within a year unless it's a live-service game. Patience is the actual cheat code.

I got tired of manually checking all of this every day, so I started curating the best drops into one place instead of scattering across 5 tabs — that's basically what LootLine turned into. If you want the daily curated version instead of doing this yourself, it's linked on my profile. Either way, stop paying full price.
