What to send a caterer so the food actually shows up
Most inflight catering misses aren't the kitchen. They're the details.
If you're a private / bizav FA ordering for a trip, send this in one message — not a thread:
ICAO + FBO, not the city. "Teterboro" is not an address. "KTEB, Signature" is.
Wheels-up in local time, and whether that's hard or plus-or-minus 30.
Pax count AND crew. Say if crew eats the same thing.
Dietary in plain language: nut allergy, no pork, kosher-style vs certified. "Some vegetarians" is how you get two sad salads and an argument.
Delivery door / handling notes. Hot vs cold. Whether it needs to sit two hours.
Order 24–48 hours out when you can. Same-day is possible on some trips and a coin flip on others — say the time first, not the menu.
That's the job. We built checkout around those fields so you don't have to chase a vendor over text while you're doing a preflight.
