Why I built a terminal toolkit for people without a laptop
I kept running into the same problem: I'd have an idea for a script or a quick server check, but I wasn't near my Mac. My phone could technically run a Linux shell (via iSH on iOS, no jailbreak needed) — but every environment expected different commands. apt on Debian, apk on Alpine, brew on macOS. Switching between devices meant re-learning setup every time.
So I built SaaCTooL — a single script that detects whatever OS it's running on and wires up the right package manager automatically. Same commands, same muscle memory, whether I'm on my iPhone in a coffee shop or my Linux box at home.
If you've ever wanted to test or ship something from your phone without babysitting package manager syntax, this solves that. Happy to answer questions on how the OS detection works under the hood.
